ROLE OVERVIEW

• We are looking for a hands-on and growth-minded Data Analyst who is willing to learn, build, and grow together with the company.

• This role will be involved from the early stage of building the data foundation from zero, including data structure, reporting logic, dashboards, KPI tracking, and business performance analysis.

• You will work closely with management and business teams to transform raw data into reliable reports, dashboards, and insights that support business strategy, planning, KPI management, and performance-based bonus implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Finance Analysis (Invoicing/ Compliance Support) & Reconcilation

• Build and automate reconciliation logic of marketplace settlement reports (Amazon, Wayfair, Shopify…), payment gateways, bank statements, and internal order data; identify and flag discrepancies for Finance to resolve.
• Model and track the full cost stack per order/SKU: COGS, landed cost, freight & fulfillment fees, marketplace commissions, ad spend, refunds/returns, chargebacks.
• Build SKU-, channel-, and market-level P&L and contribution-margin reporting, and reconcile it against the accounting P&L.
• Support cash flow, AR/AP, and revenue-recognition reporting (order date vs. settlement date vs. payout date).
• Ensure financial data definitions are consistent across BI reports and accounting records; document the calculation rules.

2. Planning & KPI Implementation

• Support in setting business strategies based on data and performance insights.
• Build KPI tracking frameworks to measure business performance and team performance.
• Support the design, calculation, and implementation of KPI-based bonus schemes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Mindset

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Finance Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience working with financial or transactional data (settlement, billing, revenue, cost, margin) — e-commerce/marketplace or cross-border experience is a strong plus.
• Understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts: P&L structure, accrual vs. cash, revenue recognition, COGS, contribution margin, AR/AP.
• Strong learning mindset and willingness to work in an early-stage data environment.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders.

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with BI architecture and data warehouse concepts.
• Ability to document data definitions, reporting logic, and KPI calculation rules.
